Taiwan Standard Color Image set (TSCI)

Taiwan Standard Color Image set (TSCI) consist a number of high-quality images which were designed for the purpose of image quality evaluation as well as colour reproduction system evaluation.The design framework of TSCI was based on that in ISO/SCID.

TSCI consists natural scenes with diverse subject matter and supplemented with synthelic images which contain colors that exend to gamut boundary that often limited in natural scenes. By utilizing both natural and synthetic image in TSCI, the permformance of reproduction system and image quality can be evaluated in tems of number of indices as examples listed below. It has been long waiting for a high standard image set with Taiwanese scenery and cultural features and TSCI was produced to response this desire from the industry.
